Is an aikido style that introduces competitive elements from judo. When I travel, I often visit other dojos - which is interesting both for myself. And my friends who practise with me. Founded in 1979, we are the oldest Shodokan Aikido and Judo dojo in Howard County, as well as one of the oldest in the state of Maryland. The club is affiliated with Aikido America International. And a chartered club of the US Judo Association. We invite you to experience how these unique martial arts can improve your flexibility, stamina, strength, and confidence. The club practices at the Columbia Athletic Club.

Tuesday, May 5, 2015. Iaido in Austin - Araki Mujinsai Ryu. Interested in the art of the Japanese sword? In south Austin there is a group training in the art iaido, drawing of the sword. It is essentially an art of drawing and cutting with the sword in a smooth and deadly manner. Mike Ross - head instructor. We are holding classes on Sundays 10am-12pm.
